Leslie Roberts, founder of LET'S TALK ABOUT COLLEGE, has worked with hundreds of students through a variety of college planning workshops and individual college advising. Leslie regularly visits college campuses across the country and attends local, regional and national conferences to stay current in the field of college admissions.
Her experience in the field of education includes:
fourteen years as an independent college counselor
Three years as the Director of College Counseling at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts High School in San Francisco
11 years as a California credentialed language arts teacher in public and private schools in Marin and San Francisco, and as a reading and writing tutor
Leslie has a BA in Communications, a California CLAD, Clear teaching credential and a graduate certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from UC Berkeley. Her volunteer work in the community includes mentoring college-bound youth through 10,000 Degrees, College Summit, and 826 Valencia.
Leslie Roberts is a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling (WACAC) and the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) and subscribes to the NACAC Statement of Principles of Good Practice.
